Welcome to Ace Tutoring, a true testament to enduring success and unwavering commitment. As we proudly celebrate 30 years in business, we reflect on our remarkable journey and the countless milestones we have achieved along the way. Since our establishment in Perth in 1993, we have steadily evolved, adapted, and grown to become a trusted leader in the education field.

Our story began with a simple vision – to build a business that would not only excel in delivering exceptional products and services but also create lasting relationships with our students, families and employees. With this vision firmly in mind, we embarked on our entrepreneurial voyage, fuelled by passion, determination and an unyielding pursuit of high quality support to local families.

Not wanting to make tuition too formal or too strict, we set about changing the idea of tuition from a ‘band-aid’ type, to a holistic approach to individual learning, not dumbing down the curriculum in any way, but bolstering confidence and making the embracing of mistakes the norm not the exception.

Over the past three decades, we have weathered the winds of change, navigated through economic fluctuations and the COVID pandemic.

One of the key factors behind our enduring presence in the W.A. market is our unwavering commitment to never taking learning for granted, always seeking anonymous feedback from students to ensure our Workshops are topical and relevant to today’s tweens and teenagers. From generations of families who have used our services, we have forged long-lasting partnerships with thousands of Australian families and Secondary Schools who are the driving force behind our growth.

Over 30 years, we’ve worked, and continue to work, with highly skilled and caring people. We take enormous pride in hand-picking our employees, ensuring our longevity via their hard work and commitment to seeing children learn new ways of studying, whilst being praised and encouraged at every step of the way.

In order to stay ahead of the curve, we never failed to adopt any of the practices Multinational Tutoring companies were saturating Perth with. From squeezing 28 kids into a room, having them sit for hours doing worksheet after worksheet; or hiring ‘presenters’ to lecture students, we strongly rejected these methods and would never call them Coaching or even Tutoring. We never strayed from our values of keeping Small Groups SMALL and spending a great deal of time implementing individual action plans for each one of our students.

In 2019 when COVID struck we vehemently rejected enormous price hikes just because others were doing it. Tuition in Australia has now become so expensive that the opportunity of parents supporting their children’s academic learning has been taken out of many family’s hands as the price of living continues to increase. Our commitment to continuous improvement and staying at the forefront of our industry has enabled us to consistently provide innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers.

Beyond business, we have always recognised the importance of giving back to the W.A. community. We have actively engaged in philanthropic endeavours, supporting various charitable initiatives, having many of our staff take integral positions in local School P&C’s and supporting two World Vision Children, Sruthi and Chengou Moaw. We will always strive to make a positive impact on the lives of those in need. Our commitment to social responsibility is deeply ingrained in our company culture and remains an integral part of who we are, especially in the realm of Indigenous Education. We have been so fortunate and humbled to have partnered with many agencies and got to know many First Nations families in both metro and regional Australia. This is a huge part of our business identity, in working to close the gap in educational spheres and opportunities.

After participating in the course I will make sure to have two books for maths (one for what examples and notes and one for what I don’t know), play games and tell story’s to help study as well as taking short hand notes for all subjects. It was exactly what I was looking for at the start of year 12, as my school hadn't given a lot of clarity and I was very unsteady with my English marks. Amanda said it how it was and that kind of learning helped me so much and I quickly gained a lot of confidence in the subject and in myself to succeed. Something that helped me in class and outside of class. She helped me regain my English confidence and start getting steady marks again, that slowly kept on rising. They took our crazy idea on what we felt our kids needed to help them and worked with us. Naturally you don't get the same tutor for the entire 7 years, but Ace worked hard to find the right tutor for each of our kids.  Their tutors were patient, kind, helpful and challenged our kids when and where they needed to be challenged.  They got to know the kids and what they needed, which changed as they got older and their subjects changed.  And at the same time our kids got to see   several of their tutors move on to start their own careers post-study.  What a great opportunity for our kids to see from someone just a little older than them where hard work and tenacity can take them. As a business, Ace were easy to deal with.
